You can also hold space to immediately eject when entering the slide, which is a mechanic used in floor 3 to avoid dying to instakills. Once you eject, your collision will return to normal, so avoid holding shift lock when getting off near an instakill. This velocity mechanic is used in 2 sections of the tower. If you are tilted while ejecting, you will be sent flying to that direction. You can press space to get off (you will also jump) at any time. While on the rail, you have a smaller collision box. When you touch the transparent purple neon you are locked onto the slide and you move at a constant speed. They can be seen in the floor 1-2 transition cutscene and the floor 3 cutscene. The protector and the destroyer are the bosses in this side. This route has a lot of instakills and many client objects. You must make it through floor 1 in time (96 seconds) and do the lodge to progress. The a sides are the main progression route of HEF. The portal will be there in the distance, below a giant rainbow egg. Press the button near the hole so you can come back here from the lobby. Aim the cannon at the door, press the pink button, and treat yourself like a ball and get flung to the door. Use the ball to hit the corresponding button color, which spawns another ball with another color. If it hits, it will summon the ball with another color. Aim at the purple button, and touch the pink button. You can aim with the arrow decal control pads. Roll the ball above the pink button platform. Press the black button to spawn a purple ball. Once you get in, you will find yourself in a room with a black button, 2 pink buttons, 2 parts with arrow decals, and a cannon. After getting as close to the vault door as possible, run into the vault door. Use the walls to heal, and use healing items to speed up the process. You are met with a couple of turrets that can rapidly drain your health. If you go past the citadel of hexagon portal from the lobby and keep going to the direction, you can find a hole in the rock floor.
